The seminar featured a presentation by the Federal Reserve Bank on Directo a Mexico, a service that allows banks and credit unions to provide much lower cost remittances to Mexico by using the Fed's International ACH service. The session also included a brief discussion of the regulatory issues impacting remittances as well as a presentation on best practices in providing banking services to Hispanic immigrants.
