Speaker Terri Sands, from Payments Information Circle, discussed ACH NACHA Rules Updates along with the Auditing Process for Remote Deposit Capture - The session focused on the 2009 NACHA Rules changes as well as the Risk Management Advisory Group (RMAG) updates that are taking place to enhance quality and reduce the overall risk of processing in the ACH Network. Attendees learned responsibilities as it relates to the new International ACH Transaction (IAT), both on the originating and receiving end. They also learned about the FFIEC Guidelines on Remote Deposit Capture and received a briefing on what is required of financial institutions offering Remote Deposit Capture.
